Guru Nanak Assembly

Year 1 performed their Guru Nanak assembly on December 2nd to a fantastic year 2 audience. The children worked so hard to share everything they have learnt about Sikhism and Guru Nanak's teachings as a celebration of his birthday. Year 1 drew upon their experience of visiting the local Gurdwara to teach people about the tradition of langar and how a baby is given a name in the Sikh faith. They also taught their audience about Guru Nanak's life, and even explained how Sikhs may show their faith.

We are very proud of the confidence and courage with which they performed. Well done to our Year 1 children!
