Music Teacher

Elmhurst Primary School is seeking a committed teacher who loves teaching music and is passionate about making a difference to children's lives for a September 2024 start. 

We are looking for a committed teacher who loves teaching music and is passionate about making a difference to children's lives.

We are seeking an exceptional teacher who has:

  • a proven track record of good or outstanding classroom teaching
  • excellent subject knowledge in music with at least an A level or equivalent
  • instrumental skills (ideally in piano) and good singing ability
  • a solid understanding of how to secure progression of musical skills within the Primary Curriculum for Music
  • an interest in developing their leadership skills

Class Teacher

We are currently recruiting for the post of Class Teacher.

We are seeking to appoint a teacher who has:

  • Outstanding classroom practice or has the potential to develop this
  • The desire to develop professionally
  • A good academic background
  • Experience of teaching across KS1 and KS2

Administration Assistant

We are a four-form entry, outstanding primary school in East London with wonderful children who are keen to learn. We are ambitious for our pupils and believe in developing the whole child. You will be part of a highly valued team who make a significant contribution to our school. 

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High standards of literacy and numeracy (minimum ‘A’ level or level 3 standard equivalent but graduates are preferred)
  • Advanced IT skills including experience of MS word, Office and Excel
  • The ability to work in an organised way and to be able to prioritise a busy and varied workload
  • A professional manner and be smartly dressed
  • Prior experience of SIMS and PS Financials desirable
