Year 2 London Landmarks Trip

What better to way to see the sights of world-famous London than by boat! Year 2 had a really fun day recently riding on an Uber boat along the River Thames exploring the amazing landmarks of the capital city. From their seats in the boat, the children marveled at famous sights like the Tower Bridge, built between 1886 and 1894, the London Eye, the most popular paid tourist attraction in the UK, and the Houses of Parliament. Seeing the places in real life rather than just photos or videos enriched their learning and inspired them to learn more. The children were fascinated by the size and beauty of the buildings and enjoyed experiencing the amazing city they live in and its rich history and vibrant culture.

Looking out over the mighty river whilst waiting for the boat.

Enjoying a walk over the bridge whilst viewing a panoramic view of famous landmarks.

It was very interesting and exciting to walk over Westminster Bridge and see The Houses of Parliament.
