Last half term, year 6 were learning about measurements in maths. We were converting lots of different units (e.g. grams and kilograms) and even learnt about metric and imperial units too. To show off all their hard work (and for some fun over half term), we linked our measuring skills with Pancake Day! The children put on their best chef hats and got hard at work creating many tasty looking pancakes. They also learnt some information about what Pancake Day is and why some people celebrate it. From these photos, it looks like everyone enjoyed this homework!
