Girl's Football

On Wednesday the 8th of December, Elmhurst's Girls Football club participated in the National Football Competition and won! Whilst it was a long day, the girls demonstrated their fantastic skills, and their hard work paid off. Mr Ben was very proud of his team. The girls documented how they felt their day went:

"My first football tournament in a different school was very fun and enjoyable. This is because I was really engaged in the game and it was a big learning experience for me. My team and I worked hard and well together in the match. This led to us winning the game and coming back to school as champions".

Safa (4K)

"I have experienced a lot from just one tournament. When you're out there in a crown, you feel a lot of pressure on yourself with people cheering you on to win".

Aleeza (4K)

"When I went on the pitch, I felt excited. When I scored, I felt happy. When we won, I felt joyful".

Liyanna

Well done to the team. Elmhurst is very proud of you.
