Special Assembly for Brenda's Retirement

This week we wished Brenda all the very best on her retirement after an incredible thirty seven years of service at Elmhurst. Brenda has been cleaning the school to a very high standard for almost four decades, providing the children with a beautiful learning environment over the years. Brenda joined us from nearby St Angela's Ursuline School and has been with us ever since. Brenda has been a great blessing for our school through her commitment to her work and her sparkling, kind personality. She has a genuine love for her job and a deep care and warmth for the children, staff and families here. She is a ray of sunshine amongst our staff team.

Throughout the years, Brenda has always cleaned to an exceptionally high standard and kept the school looking brand new, even when it is used by so many children day in day out. The nursery has a particularly special place in Brenda's heart as this is where she has done a lot of her work over the years and got to know the team as if they were her own family. Brenda has a smile and something warm-hearted to say every day; she is always open to having a friendly chat with everyone and helps make the school the warm and welcoming place it is.

We will miss Brenda very much here and hope she comes to visit us often as she is part of the Elmhurst family. We wish Brenda all the very, very best for her next chapter and want to say a huge thank you for all you have done here.
