Our Head Boy and Head Girl would like to introduce themselves:
Hello, my name is Banoo Haidari and I am the school’s Head Girl. My duty is to help people, be a role model, make sure everyone is following the 5Cs (care, confidence, creativity, challenge, character) and to make sure that all children have fun at school. I am independent, hardworking, confident and caring.
I have many things I want to achieve as Head Girl. First of all, I want all children to be nice and caring towards others, be a role model to younger children and to enjoy learning.
I have many hobbies but most certainly sports would come first. At Elmhurst we find sports as a very important subject. It’s fun and good for your health. At lunchtimes we have many competitions running, for example, we have Magic4 (football), skipping and more. I also love art, I love sketching, drawing and painting.
Hello, my name is Ayaan and I'm Head Boy of Elmhurst Primary School. It still feels weird to say that as it is something that I have wanted to be for a long time. In fact, it was around this time last year when I was in Year 5 and I was selected to interview children who were in Year 6 then to become Head Boy and Head Girl. From then, I knew this was something I wanted to do. It shows that if you set your mind to do something, then you can definitely achieve it. My favourite subjects are literacy, maths and computing. Aside from that, I enjoy playing football and cricket. I am confident and have a good sense of humour.
I am excited to fulfil my role and am looking forward to the challenges and most important the experiences that this role will bring. I hope I do my family, my teachers and Elmhurst proud.
