Since the Autumn term, 6V have been working on introducing water-saving measures across the school. They Have been introducing rainwater collection competitions, displaying posters to raise awareness of dripping taps, creating 'short shower' competitions - they had plenty to do! Some brave pupils even asked Mr Haris if he would be willing to install water-saving devices in the school's taps...
After weeks of hard work, 10 pupils from 6V visited the prestigious City Hall with Ms Vann to present their work to a panel of judges and the 12 participating schools. How nerve-wracking! Amazingly, 6V came first in the competition - they will now be going on to make a video of their hard work and will attend a well-deserved trip to the Thames Reservoir. Well done 6V!
