Awais Mahmood represented Newham at the London Youth Games cricket during the summer in the East Region competition.
The team came first where they won the competition by one run in the final match. The opposing teams sure made it hard for the team but their perseverance and team play got them through to first place. Awais’ performance during the games was a credit to the borough and the school.
