Last week, Year 5 went head to head in a extremely tense tournament. in each class, 5 members were selected at random to compete. By having a random selection, it allowed for more variety of abilities and ensured everyone would practice and prepare. The audience (the remaining pupils in the year group) were extremely enthusiastic and took part using whiteboards.
After 5R and 5RS were through to the final, 5ER managed to grab bronze and defeated 5A. In the tense final and after amazing efforts from both teams, 5RS won!
Congratulations to 5RS who showed the best application of their times tables!
